Show Hidden Files-Mac
As a Mac convert, “simple” things like showing hidden files don’t seem so simple. I came across an extremely simple process to show hidden files in finder, which is very helpful to see things like .htaccess files. If you don’t know what type of hosting you need (i.e. Windows or Linux) you should probably choose Linux. It doesn’t matter what you run on your PC at home as it’s totally independent of the server software.
